Unified Communications Market Sees Strong Momentum Across Europe, Driven by Displays, Headsets and Pre-Black Friday Demand

Spain leads the region with exceptional growth, according to CONTEXT

London, 21st November 2025 - The European Unified Communications (UC) market delivered a strong performance heading into Q4 2025, with several product segments showing robust growth and October emerging as a standout month, according to the latest insights from CONTEXT, the global market intelligence firm.

Across the UC sector, most major segments recorded positive momentum. Collaboration display systems posted the highest relative growth, fuelled especially by exceptional demand in Spain. Collaboration headsets also performed strongly, helped by solid revenue contributions from Germany and Italy’s consumer and retail channels in the run-up to Black Friday.

However, not all categories benefitted from the uplift. Conference solutions continued to decline, extending a downward trend that has persisted for several months, according to CONTEXT.

October reinforced its position as the key month for UC headsets, the sector’s highest-revenue segment, delivering an impressive 11% year-on-year increase across the entire UC market through IT distribution. Collaboration headsets alone saw 8% year-on-year growth, outperforming expectations despite the continued decline in the Average Selling Price.

“October has been a pivotal month for the UC sector”, said Rémi Gaudin, Business Analyst at CONTEXT.  We saw strong momentum across displays, headsets and cameras, with several countries delivering standout performances. Black Friday preparation played a key role, especially in boosting headset revenues in Germany and Italy’s retail channels,”

At a country level, Spain outperformed all other markets by a considerable margin, posting an exceptional 104% year-on-year growth in UC revenues. This performance was driven almost entirely by collaboration display systems, supported by several converging factors:

  • A significant push in the education sector, which accounted for the majority of the growth

  • Warranty-cycle refreshes on traditional large-format displays

  • The reactivation of projects previously on hold earlier in the year

  • A favourable Q3-Q4 window for education procurement

The surge in collaboration display systems isn’t down to a single catalyst”, said Remi.”It’s the result of education demand, warranty refreshes and stalled projects all coming back at once. This combination has put Spain at the top of the European UC growth rankings.”

Germany, the region’s largest UC market, representing 30–35% of revenues,  grew by 18%, while the Netherlands continued its upward trend with 9% growth. The UK returned to positive territory with 7%, following a challenging year. France remained soft at –5%, though the country saw its first areas of positive momentum in conference cameras. Italy also experienced a noticeable slowdown.

Across cameras, performance was positive in several key markets, with Germany, the UK and France all seeing improvements, including 30% growth in conference cameras in some regions.

“What we’re seeing is an increasingly dynamic UC landscape, where displays, headsets and cameras are benefiting from both structural and seasonal drivers”, added Remi. “With Black Friday activity feeding into Q4, we expect the sector to carry strong momentum into the end of the year.”
